Histology research lab specializing in tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, cryosectioning, special stains, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF), and RNAscope.
The Pathology Research Program Laboratory (PRP lab) has been providing histological services for research clients both external and internal to University Health Network since 2001. We perform both routine and customizable histology services in order to meet project needs. We are a group of experienced licensed medical laboratory technologists (MLTs) working with a wide array of species, such as zebra fish, mouse, rat, rabbit, guinea pig, ferret, dog, monkey, xenografts, allografts and human samples. Our lab has optimized over 500 antibodies to date and are acknowledged in a plethora of paper and journals.
