The Remote Sensing and Spatial Ecosystem Modeling Laboratory

University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario
What the facility does

Remote sensing of vegetation, biophysical and biochemical analysis

Areas of expertise

The Remote Sensing and Spatial Ecosystem Modeling Laboratory integrates remote sensing and ecosystem modelling approaches to study the vast Canadian terrestrial ecosystems at multiple levels (species, communities, ecosystem), spatial scales (local, using drones, to regional, using satellite images), and dimensions (biophysical and biochemical drivers, human causes and climate drives).
