Molecular Pathology Core Facility of the Centre de recherche du CHUM

Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM), Montréal, Québec
What the facility does

Support for researchers with regard to the histological and pathological aspects of their research projects

Areas of expertise

The core facility offers researchers an array of services, including block sectioning, image analyses, and IHC, IF and H&E digitization and staining. Our personnel have a number of years of experience in all steps in tissue microarray construction and analysis — one of our unique strengths.

Research services

Bright-field and fluorescence slide digitization, H&E, IHC and IF tissue slide staining, tissue microarray construction, OCT/FFPE block sectioning, image analysis, paraffin tissue block sampling, histology advice, cell pellet preparation, slide and block searches in various biobanks, facilitation of access to a pathologist for advice or examinations.
