Neuroimaging research on psychiatric and neurological disorders using Positron-Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanning
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) Brain Health Imaging Centre is one of the few brain-imaging facilities that is fully dedicated to research on mental illness and addictions, offering both Positron-Emission Tomography (PET) and MRI imaging. In the past 20 years, CAMH PET research has yielded major discoveries that have been applied to clinical treatment and drug development and have led to the creation of widely used radiotracers.
