Research on genetics, epigenetics and pharmacogenetics relating to the causes and treatments of various mental illnesses
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health's (CAMH) genetics facilities include state-of-the-art equipment and highly skilled lab personnel. Scientists conduct research on genetics, epigenetics and pharmacogenetics relating to the causes and treatments of various mental illnesses. Our primary goal is to identify genetic factors that increase a person’s risk of developing a mental illness and response to psychiatric medication.
