What the facility does

Genomics and molecular biology research and service provision

Areas of expertise

Established in 1998, The Centre for Applied Genomics (TCAG) is dedicated to conducting and promoting groundbreaking research in genomics, including service and training support for academic, government, and private sector scientists worldwide. We undertake research experimentation and data analysis for more than 800 client researchers each year, drawn from all Canadian provinces and 44 additional countries. Services include informatics, sequencing, genetic analysis, cytogenomics, biobanking, statistical analysis, and comprehensive consultative project design and execution support.

Research services

Sequencing, bioinformatics, genotyping, microarrays, cytogenomics, biobanking, genomic DNA preparation, high performance computing, databasing, statistical analysis, project consultation
