Donkor Research Facility

Thompson Rivers University, Kamloops, British Columbia
What the facility does

Developing rapid and sensitive analytical methods in capillary electrophoresis, chromatography, and mass spectrometry for the characterization of antimicrobial agents, food products, agricultural and environmental samples.

Areas of expertise

The Donkor Research Facility develops rapid and sensitive analytical methods in capillary electrophoresis, chromatography, and mass spectrometry to characterize antimicrobial agents, food products, agricultural, and environmental samples. We have experience using analytical chemistry instrumentation such as capillary electrophoresis, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization (MALDI)-mass spectrometry and have a working knowledge of chemometrics.
